I am an artist based in Aberdeen, Scotland with a BA (hons) Degree in Painting from Grays’ School of Art.
Through the process of collage, I combine various techniques and materials – primarily oil paint and pastels – to piece together my memories and narratives. My practice is about absorbing my surroundings; as I become more sensitive to it, I accumulate images and stories which I embellish and make impressions of in my work.
After graduating, my desire to help others led me to coordinate workshops at charities including Inspire and The North East Sensory Services while sharing my process.
I have also exhibited in The Suttie Arts Space, Newave, ‘Worm’ and I have showcased my work in The North East Opens Studios since 2009.
